Harry Barnes, a retired principal from the Cincinnati Public School system, brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for education and architecture to his first book, "Cincinnati's Monuments to Education." With 45 years of dedicated service in education, Harry has witnessed firsthand the beauty and intrigue of the city's school buildings.
Harry holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from the University of Cincinnati. His career has been marked by a commitment to fostering learning environments that inspire and support students, a commitment that is reflected in the meticulous research and stunning photography showcased in his book.
A lifelong resident of Cincinnati, Harry grew up in the city and continues to reside there with his wife of 50 years, Teresa. Together, they cherish the close-knit community and the rich history of their hometown. Harry is a proud father to a daughter, Natalie, and a son, Dustin. He also cherishes the time with his daughter-in-law, Shari and two granddaughters, Parker and Sloan.
